A Month of Stillness, Storytelling & Soulful Connection
This June, something gentle is stirring between the shelves of Ink & Ember. A softer kind of story. A slower kind of spark.
In partnership with The Bobby Copping Foundation, we’re proud to present The Mindful Chapter—a month-long series dedicated to mental health, wellbeing, and the quiet power of community care.

Â
Across four themed weeks, our bookshop café becomes more than just a place to browse—it becomes a sanctuary. A safe space. A platform for expression, reflection, and real connection. Whether you’re here to journal, listen, speak, or simply be, this chapter is yours too.
Â
🗓️ WEEK ONE: Breathe In
(2nd–8th June)
We begin gently, with stillness, self-awareness, and space to exhale.
Join us for a week devoted to mindfulness and emotional reflection. Make your own journal, experience a sound bath, or try guided journaling in a candlelit circle. We’re also introducing our in-store Shelf-Care Station—a cozy pop-up offering calming teas, affirmation cards, notebooks, and tools to support emotional wellness.

❤️ Why This Matters
Mental health matters—to us, to our community, and to every person who’s ever walked through our doors needing a moment of peace. The Mindful Chapter is our way of saying:
You are not alone.
You are allowed to rest.
You are part of something here.
Whether you join us for an event, contribute a quote to our wall, or simply sit with a book and a cup of tea, you belong in this chapter.
Visit us in-store or follow along on socials for the full event listings and booking links. And if you’d like to receive gentle reminders, exclusive updates, and stories from the heart—subscribe to The Ember Edit, our newsletter.
Let this be your invitation to pause.
Your permission to feel.
And your spark to heal.
