"This was my first dark cowboy romance and I enjoyed it so much.
When I picked this up I didn’t even read the blurb so it was fully a surprise to me. I think I rated higher as I didn’t have any expectations (only the hope of whisking me away from the cold & rainy uk 🌧️)
I enjoyed both man characters and their character development. I enjoyed getting to learn both of their back stories and their trauma. I enjoyed the plot twists and mystery. I did not enjoy the part where he was so in love with her he basically stalked her. He went from a strong MMC to soppy for the last part of the book and I didn’t enjoy the at character change.
It honestly hit the spot for me - no notes. If you’re looking for an intense, forced marriage with a side of pen pals meets Yellowstone then this may be the book for you!"
