A love letter to friendship, stories, and gifting with intention

✨ The Concept

A cosy, creative evening where guests bring one pre-loved book they adore, wrap it beautifully in-store, decorate it with accessories and prompts, then gift it to another guest — either randomly or with intention.

It’s part book swap, part craft night, part friendship ritual 💌

When? Friday 9th January 2026 

Time? 6:30pm - 8:30pm 

🕯️ How the Night Flows

1️⃣ Arrival & Welcome

• Guests check in and take a seat at the “Wrapping Table” with your used, favourite book
• Each book must be:
  • In good condition
  • Something you loved or would genuinely recommend

• You'll then pick up a short Book Prompt Card to fill in:

  • “Perfect for someone who loves…”
  • Mood: cozy / chaotic / romantic / emotional / escapist
  • One line why this book mattered to me

2️⃣ Wrapping & Decorating Station (30–40 mins)

This is where the ✨magic✨ happens.

You'll have:

• Brown paper 
• Twine, ribbon, stickers
• Dried flowers
• Mini charms, bookmarks, tag

Guests:

• Wrap your chosen book
• Decorate the front
• Attach your prompt card
• Optional: add a tiny note inside for the future reader 💭

3️⃣ The Swap Moment 💞 

Lucky Dip

• Wrapped books placed in the centre
• Guests draw a number or prompt
• Pure surprise, joyful chaos
