Join writer & facilitator Richard Joy for a supportive, creative space to practise your craft, try new styles, and share ideas with like-minded people. Whether you’re brand new to writing or decades in, you’ll find encouragement, inspiration and just the right amount of challenge.

What to expect

Each week we’ll explore a specific aspect of the writing process—voice, character, setting, structure, dialogue, and more. You’ll get short readings, guided prompts, time to write, and the option to share. No homework required (unless you want it!).

Perfect for: absolute beginners to seasoned writers.
Bring: a notebook and pen (or laptop), plus any work-in-progress if you’d like.
