PLANT LADY: An Evening of Terrariums and Quiet Revenge

PLANT LADY: An Evening of Terrariums and Quiet Revenge

Every garden needs a little weeding.

Join us and Stamford Botanics for an evening tending to things that grow in the dark, inspired by Plant Lady, the cult Korean psychological horror that's been creeping its way onto every BookTok shelf. It's a story of revenge, reinvention, and what it takes to grow back, set in a quiet little plant shop where the owner offers gardening advice by day and a rather more permanent solution to bad men by night.

So naturally, we thought we'd build something living of our own.

Over the course of the evening you'll create your own horror terrarium, a tiny moonlit sanctuary all your own. Think moss, ferns, dark trailing greenery, and a few suitably sinister finishing touches. No shovels required (we hope). We'll talk through the book, its slow-burning menace and wicked humour, while you plant something beautiful that asks for nothing but a little care and a quiet place to thrive.

Yoohee would approve.

What to expect A copy of Plant Lady to take home, all the materials to build and keep your own terrarium, a glass of something atmospheric, and an hour or two in deliciously eerie company.

Spaces are limited and these tend to bloom quickly, so do book ahead. Best worn: something you don't mind getting a little soil on.

Bad men make excellent fertiliser. Petunias make rather nicer company.
